Star Wars: Obi Wan Film To Go Into Production in 2019

There is good news on the horizon.

A stand-alone Obi-Wan Kenobi movie is in the works by Disney and Lucasfilm to be produced in 2019 after listening to fan’s demands of which characters to explore in future films.

Not much know is known about the movie yet with no story-line written but rumours are indicating that the movie may be set around the time Obi-Wan is on Tatooine looking after Luke Skywalker. Director Stephen Daidry who has also produced Billy Elloit, The Reader and The Hours is set to take a seat behind the camera.

Let’s hope Ewan McGregor will also agree to play the role again as he was one of the few cast members that fans truly accepted in the prequels.
